The Top 10 Spamming ISPs Might Surprise You

From Spamhaus. This is absolutely ridiculous, isn’t it? Verizon and ATT (with Yahoo!) both tout their Spam-blocking capability… but they are by far the ISPs that are the source of the most spam! If Spamhaus can identify these issues and track them back, how come Verizon and ATT (and others) can not diligently track and shut down these users?

My good friend, Bill, has the best metaphor for situations like this… It’s like the exterminator releasing the roaches!

  1. If you really want to take a Machiavellian approach to it, what better way to spam than to be in the position of an ISP? If you own the e-mailbox, what’s to stop you? =( Besides that whole customer loss thing.

At least Yahoo, Google, and MSN aren’t on the list.

  2. No doubt these would be the TOP10 ISP – no pun intended – Like VSNL is India’s #1 ISP
