Last year, the National Retail Federation reported that 212 million individuals hit the shopping aisles on Black Friday, spending an estimated $45 billion. Mashwork analyzed over 270,000 tweets from 9/26/11 to 11/17/11 to find out where shoppers would be this Black Friday, and what products they will be sprinting down the aisle to get their hands on.
Personally, I’m not a Black Friday shopper – but my daughter is so I’m up all night checking text messages on her progress. The deals that she comes home with are nothing short of amazing but I just can’t bring myself to join those crowds and be such a blatant consumerist. I refuse to participate!
