The Webtrends Engage 2009 Conference is over but it’s clear that there is a ton of work for online marketers to do to stop under-utilizing their analytics package and master leveraging the data to effectively communicate with their prospects and clients. It was an energizing conference and I’m thankful that I was able to attend and meet so many folks in the industry.
I’d like to especially thank Social Media guru Justin Kistner for my action-packed agenda. Justin worked with the team at Webtrends to provide me with direct access to each of the Webtrends executive team and speakers throughout the week. Justin, Jascha and I really hit it off – I’m sure I’ll be trading many messages with them and meeting up with them in the near future.
Perhaps the entire week was summed up with a brief meeting with an account executive who recently joined Webtrends. She said, “It’s so exciting, I feel like I’ve just joined a startup.” That’s an incredible testament to the changes that are happening internally.
