I recently had the opportunity to attend ExactTarget Connections 2012, and among several panel discussions, I especially enjoyed the one entitled Social 2020: What Will Become Of Us? Moderated by the inimitable Jeff Rohrs, VP Marketing Research & Education at ExactTarget, it included Margaret Francis, VP of Social at ExactTarget, David Berkowitz, VP of Emerging Media at 360i, Stephen Tarleton, Director of Global Channel & SMB Marketing Bazaarvoice, and Sam Decker, CEO and Founder of Mass Relevance. The folks at Cantaloupe distributed this incredible video just in time for Halloween. I even got to make a little cameo appearance since the interviews were filmed at the ExactTarget Connections conference. If you don’t see the video, be sure to click through to the post. The point of the video is critical – adding video to email has a substantial impact on click-through rates (CTR). Cantaloupe clients are seeing 150+% improvements.

In real-time, a text message response was sent back confirming the request and asking if you’d also like to receive a voice message from David Daniels, Vice President and Principal Analyst for Forrester Research. An email also arrived … Continue reading
