Turn LinkedIn into a CRM with Diigo

With Yahoo! appearing to pull the plug on their most useful application, Delicious, I exported all my Delicious bookmarks and imported them into Diigo. Seriously Yahoo! Why not just sell Delicious? Anyways… after I installed Diigo, I installed the Diigo extension for Chrome. This is when I was amazed… I can highlight sections of pages, bookmark pages, privately bookmark them and, most importantly, leave notes on a page… all from a handy button in the Chrome address bar. Power Networking and One Degree Connected

Although I really appreciate both networks, LinkedIn and Plaxo haven’t produced any type of meaningful connections for me. Like many other people, I use them to keep my address book up to date, but rarely use them to actually network. Typically, I’ll go to a networking event, bring back the business cards of the folks that I’ve met, and connect with them on LinkedIn. Share your Slides with Slideshare, Facebook and LinkedIn

One of the benefits of working with a company that specializes in blogging for SEO is that it gives us some inside connections to SEO experts who have accomplished quite a bit of testing and experimentation. Today I had a discussion with someone who recommended a couple social media sites that can actually assist with your Search Engine placement. Surprisingly, Facebook came up in the conversation but not in the typical sense. Facebook actually has pages – a way for businesses and organizations to be part of Facebook without faking … Continue reading
