I’ll be having some fun tonight here in town with my first Ignite presentation at Ignite Indy. My presentation is a bit out of the norm, I’m actually doing a presentation called Meetings: The Death of American Productivity.
The presentation will be a rant about the misuse, abuse and general mayhem that meetings cause in the workplace. As well, I’ll have some tips for having great meetings. The event is sold out but this should be the first of a regular series of them.
The Ignite methodology is 20 slides automatically advanced every 15 seconds. It requires some discipline, great preparation, and some talent on behalf of the speaker. Let’s hope I can keep up! Either way, it’s a great way to get some practice. Here’s a great presentation on building iPhone applications:
After being at Ignite New Orleans, I know it will be 5 minutes of terror, bombing, or fun. I’m shooting for the fun part.
