As you may have read in my last post, it’s been quite a busy weekend. One of the things I’ve been working on for the last week is an article for Have Laptop Will Travel run by SeanRox. SeanRox has been an avid reader of my blog for a while now and came up with a great idea… why not do a guest blog on his site so that his readers are introduced to my blog? I hope to return the favor and have Sean on this blog soon.
Writing the article was fun but there was a lot more pressure since I really wanted to knock one out of the stadium for Sean. We both did a lot of talking and decided there wasn’t enough information out there on Blogging and E-metrics. So, I wrote a little primer on integrating a WordPress blog with Google Analytics, FeedBurner and Technorati – and use all of them to monitor your blog’s exposure. Fun stuff! Though I tried to whittle the article down to a post, it simply would not budge, so we decided to release it as an Article.
I think it’s a great primer. It get’s into some details of using Google Analytics that you may not realize as well as help you to think about your goals and strategies. Read about it here, on Have Laptop will Travel.
Oh, and don’t forget to Digg It, here:

I hope you enjoy it. I’d really like to take a couple months and put together a full Blog E-metrics guide that’s thorough. Let me know if you’d be interested in that!
