Recently, I wrote a scathing post regarding Microsoft’s upcoming push of Internet Explorer 7.
The Internet Explorer blog has a post yesterday that may provide some good news:
IE 7 is a stepping stone in our effort to improve our standards compliance (especially around CSS).
Microsoft mentions that feedback from several sources, including the IEBlog, helped them to “prioritize features” and identify the most “grievous bugs”. Thanks for listening, Microsoft! You had me worried. Now I’m simply concerned. I look forward to getting IE 7 and being relieved.
It’s enlightning that blogging can make a difference like this with a company.
