I really wanted to like the Google Talk chatback badge but I couldn't. I never once received an actual chat conversation while I was at my computer. I received half a dozen when I wasn't. Not sure why since it is supposed to know my status. Plus my own IM client competed with the chatback badge such that when someone used the chatback badge I received it in a new window as well as in my IM client. Too quirky for me.
