OUCH! Much empathy.

Participating in http://forums.macnn.com/104/alternative-operating-systems/363488/blue-screen-crash-during-boot-camp/ might give some useful hints.

Hope your weekend is better,

Derek, Foo: Too funny.

It appears to have done it when I put the Mac to sleep. If I hybernate Vista and suspend it, it seems to be okay. Still sucks that an OS can’t stay stable when you simply stop using it.

I have problems like this with Parallels and Vista often. You will also find that you can’t upgrade to new versions of Parallels (that might fix whatever bug you’re hitting) without having to reactivate Vista, which may require a phone call to MS.

I’m not so sure that it’s a Windows problem. I’ve gotten similar problems when my hard disks start to go bad. I know that’s not what’s going on here, but Vista can’t either read from memory or read from your disk.

Hi Ninja,

I’m having luck with that method as well! It seems to only bluescreen if I suspend without hybernate - which could be a Parallels issue perhaps. That’s still suspect, though, since that method works with other OS versions.
