Video no longer available. :(

Anyway on the topic of microblogging: I’ve tried a few services like Twitter and tumblr, I didn’t find much appealing about them. Maybe it’s just me, I have a hard enough time coming up with stuff to my full blog much less publishing something every hour or so through a microblog.

Hi Dan!

It seems to be back now, not sure what happened.

Micro-blogging is a tough gig, especially for guys like me who work for a living. :) I don’t have time to jot things down all day. I do think of it as more of a ‘news ticker’. I see a lot of great info when I glance over at twhirl throughout the day.

I don’t have time to hold conversations there - but a lot of good material goes by. AND it helps me think of ideas for upcoming posts.

Thanks for stopping by!
Doug

I found your blog through a comment you left on Buzz Marketing. I love the Common Craft Show videos - they break new technology down is a way that is so easy to understand and it helps me explain it to friends and co workers. Thanks for posting this one about twitter - I twitter but now I understand WHY I twitter!
