Very Interesting read. Interestingly enough, with the conventional print media, it takes a print cycle (day, week, other period) to respond or to get more news, good or bad, in front of the public, With the web, it’s instantaneous and can keep mushrooming so there is need to be very proactive and agressive in a response strategy to any story.

I need to make my customers’ communications departments totally aware of this scenario and put a ‘news disaster recovery’ strategy in place.
