Very relevant and true. I've too have seen interactive marketing used in the wrong context. Do a "define:" query in Google and you'll get the idea. It seems the term "interactive" is now synonymous with the Web. Ironically enough, most websites aren't truly interactive. Clicking through a bunch of hyperlinks, while not necessarily ineffective, isn't really an interactive experience IMO. I like the fishing metaphor. Very relevant and true.
