After putting some tough hours in this week, my daughter Katie gave me a hard time and wanted a “daddy-daughter” night. So, we celebrated my new job and my 10 lbs of weight loss with a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I went with the Hawaiian so I didn’t feel too guilty (it has pineapples!), Katie went with the strawberry cheesecake.

I also promised Katie that I would post a pic on my blog of her and her friend Brooke. They had a spirit day at school to root for the football team. It means that there’s an extraordinary volume of make-up as well as terrible combination of yellow and green anythings to go in hair, on head, on nails, all the way down to the socks and shoes.

I think it’s great that you celebrate your weight loss with ice cream! Also a big boost for those girls to have their pics put up on the blog.
