There was a time that I cringed when my birthday was coming. April 19th has some really interesting events happen on it… the U.S.S. Iowa explosion, Wako, Oklahoma city… ugh. Going back in history, it doesn’t get much better. It was the day that the American Revolution started!
What happened on your Birthday?
Wikipedia has an entry for every day of the year that you can read. I wanted to add that it was the day that I was born, but I’m not sure that’s really history.

It would have been a lot easier except that IE7 didn’t default the value to the select item. So the form took up twice the room for that.
That’s a cool three to share a birthday with!
(And, yes, IE is terrible. I worked almost a week on a very cool blog layout, only to find out that, even though it was XML compliant, it just did not render correctly in IE.)
“This day usually marks the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere and the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere, and thus is the day of the year with the longest hours of daylight in the northern hemisphere and the shortest in the southern hemisphere.”
